We are expanding Cambridge Cares to be a year round initiative.
The heartbeat of Cambridge Cares is our Holiday Giving Program, which will remain a Cambridge Tradition. However, we have recognized a broader need in our Cambridge community. The year round efforts of Cambridge Cares will focus on meeting specific requests for Cambridge Families in time of need. While Clothes Closet and Snack Pak are treasured resources, often times needs extend beyond clothing and food. A partnership between the Cambridge Counselors and PTO, families signing up for this email distribution list are indicating they would be interested in making donations and fulfilling specific requests as need arises.

Each year our Cambridge PTO works with our counselors to sponsor Cambridge Cares. This program is designed to support Cambridge Families with financial needs by providing Holiday gifts for their children. Families can choose to GIVE or RECEIVE gifts. Families who GIVE, can choose to shop for a Cambridge student or donate money to be used to purchase items. Each sponsored child will receive a book, a toy and some winter clothes. The items are given to families to wrap and present to their children according to their holiday tradition.
You can also choose to donate by sending money via Venmo @Cambridge-AH-PTO please make sure you write "Cambridge Cares Holiday Project" in the notes section.
